Our businesses are the backbone of our local economy and an integral part of our community, and the Clemson Area Chamber of Commerce is essential to the success of these businesses, especially as our area continues to grow and change. I have been fortunate enough to call Clemson home for most of my life, and I have had the honor of serving this community in many ways. My years in banking and in working with non-profits – including serving as Chair of the Chamber Board – have shown me that a thriving Chamber can bring businesses and community together to support a strong and appealing quality of life. The Clemson Area Chamber’s dedication to this community is evident in the popular weekly farmers market and through their business-oriented programs such as Business After Hours gatherings and Clemson Young Professionals. On behalf of Clemson City Council, we are proud of the efforts of the Chamber team and their dedication to supporting businesses for the benefit of our entire community.
