About
Clemson University Libraries welcomes community visitors. Residents of South Carolina ages 16 and older may become Community Members at no cost by submitting an application through the Library Services Desk. The Libraries provide an adult, academic environment focused on research and student success; therefore, children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
Access to Cooper Library is available through card scan-in at the fourth-floor bridge entrance. Visitors without a card may call Security at 864-656-6194 for entry and must sign the visitor log. Metered parking is available across campus.
Due to licensing restrictions, off-campus access to electronic resources is unavailable for community members. A limited number of public computers and scanners are available inside Cooper Library for use of online collections, databases, and the library catalog.
